Well, let me share this with you...The stellar reviews that “The Fence Guy” has earned are more than well deserved...I required a fence repair that basically involved digging out an existing 6X6 post and replacing it with a new one. Along… More with this, the adjoining fence sections needed to be realigned. By no means was this a big job, and to be honest, I didn't think that a business that did such volume and much larger jobs would prioritize my small repair. My request was sent through their website portal and in no less than 2 hours both a response and quote showed up in my email (Thanks Jack!). Keeping in mind that this job was time sensitive, I was accommodated promptly! Mike (Owner) sent one of his crews out to get it done. The job was completed in a timely fashion and done professionally. I wish I knew the names of the crew they sent but I can tell you that they are super nice guys that were both respectful and professional. As for as the owner (Mike), it looks like he really built a solid business. We ended up just going with the original plan. Scheduling outdoor service work is not easy in the early Spring but we got started on time. The crew worked solid hours, cleaned up after themselves and built a fantastic fence! I bought a new Victorian house, and it needed some upgrading. I called contractors for quotes for several jobs, and to my surprise, the lack of professionalism was outstanding (people who wouldn't return calls, totally unreliable and… More even rude)! After this experience, I felt I couldn't trust anyone to come into my home and do the work. I was happy to meet Mike, who owns this business. From the beginning, he took a professional approach. He gave me a timely quote at a very reasonable cost and was reliable and communicative. I had some changes along the way, and he was flexible and open to working with me. During the process, he was punctual and trustworthy. The result is of excellent quality, and his team did the job in a fast and efficient manner. I am most satisfied, and I feel like I have some faith in SOME contractors. I would highly recommend him.
We had used The Fence Guy previously in 2015 to install a chain link fence, as wood was outside our budget at that time. We were very happy with that first experience so we connected with Mike again this year (2020) to replace the chain… More link with the wood privacy fence we had always wanted.We found Mike's pricing to be fair and we liked his idea of creating a small retaining wall, as the yard behind us was about a foot below our land. We also altered the footprint of our fence line a bit, changing the location and size of the gate. And they were able to butt the new fence up to one section that we did not replace. We provided Mike with a reference picture of another fence we liked and he made it work!The guys he had working on our fence were fantastic to deal with, very friendly and happy to answer questions.
